X-pipe Swap

So a friend of mine is trading his 4.2 Granturismo for an Aston and he will let me have his x-pipe as long as the standard pipe from my 4.7 Mcshift fits on his! Does someone know if this will work?I'm pretty sure the x pipe will be fine for mine but concerned about the pipe from Mcshift fitting on the 4.2!?

Should fit just fine (I've not checked recently but when I was looking I'm sure all GTs share the same X-pipe)

There is an incompatibility in the models here, can’t remember if it’s the 4.2 or the 4.7 auto. If you check the Larini website it lists H/X pipes as different for certain models.

Annoying. Eurospares new site doesn't list all compatible cars, but 228235 fits both the 4.2 and the 4.7 F1

I took the x pipe off my 4.2 when I sold it and had it put on the 4.7 and it fits fine.

I'm not worried about the x pipe if will fit my McShift..i'm more worried that my standard pipe won't fit the 4.2 to be honest.It's a bit of time and money involved in this operation so i wanna be sure will fit.Well i guess will give it a try and come back with an update lol

The auto and MC Shift cats are different but Centre resonators are the same afaik. Mario’s will be able to confirm.

Mine's a 2014 Sport Auto and the centre section fits fine.
