I'm looking to buy a 4200 spyder

I know, I know, hens' teeth. But, what the heck!

It must have a manual gearbox. Preferably, with a light colour interior.

I'm a returning member to this forum. I've owned two Maseratis in the past, an 05 4200CC and an 06 QP, which I sold six years ago.

A friend contacted me recently, for some advice on a Ghibli, which led me to suggest this place, which led me to check the 'for sale' forum, which led to this burning desire to buy the extremely rare 4200 spyder manual, if one's out there .

Cash waiting for the right car.

Thanks!

Just to fan the flames....
I've been a car nut for over 50yrs, have owned exotics, sports cars, muscle cars, etc. My wife of 40yrs, has been tolerant of my many cars, and the expense of owning them. Until I bought my Spyder. She absolutely loves it. She plans weekend trips for us to take, she hunts for car shows to take
it to, and more often than I, suggest that we take the Mas. The other day we were on a countryside rampage when we stopped at an intersection.
The top was down, the weather perfect, the birds were singing, the motor burbling, she turned to me and said "We are never selling this car".
I've only driven a CC car twice, so really can't debate the difference between the two, but the confidence that the manual box gives me to just get in the car and go is great.
Hope you find the car you're looking for.

I've just heard from Nareman at Nuvola that there were only 4 post face-lift, RHD manual spyders supplied. So, not the easiest car to find.

Good luck with your search. Despite the manual bit of my car leaving me stranded waiting for recovery the other week, having a stick shift rather than an automated manual CC, for me anyway, really adds to the driving experience, wouldn’t have it any other way!

I've had two CCs in my life, I really don't want any more.

Thank you.
That looks good at first glance. It has a light interior, which I prefer. Shame it's a pre update car. Still, "hen's teeth". I shall make some enquiries
