Hi,

I have this manual in german but would really like an example in english. Anyone have an idea where to download safely ?

It would help just to have torque settings for gearbox and clutch to start with. It's on page 7 of "Technical Data" chapter. I'm replacing the clutch soon so correct torques would be great to have.

Thanks. It may be useful as many of the torque specs are probably the same.

I have the "Ottocilindri" WSM in German and every torque I need is there. Problem is translating it good enough so my mechanic can understand. Using Google Translate coughed out some pretty useless sentences.

You can buy them from a number of places for example:

Thanks, but it looks like they only have the V6 model. Although the Evo and pre-Evo V8's are different in many ways the Ottocilindri manual would do just fine.

I would have to get a local garage to do the clutch job as I have no access to a two-post lift for the time needed. But I just can't remember how the starter motor is attached. I swapped it a few years ago but still don't remember.

Is it bolted to the gearbox or bolted to the engine ? I hoped the garage could remove the gearbox without having to remove the plenum to reach the starter (fingers crossed).

It's below the plenum. Two persons with a lift might be able to reinstall it without removing the plenum (at least that's what the workshop manual indicates).

Thank You. I tried downloading that one but it didn't work. Must be missing some program on my PC or something.... But I think that is the same manual I have in German. I could be wrong.

I bought a manual from emanuals.com - it was offered for $45 as a complete manual for QP4 with every repair needed from A-Z. What I received was a complete engine manual and clearly not exactly what was offered. They agreed and sent a complete 3200GT as a substitute which contained every chapter of the car. The QP4 Evo and 3200GT are very similar in drivetrain so in retrospect I got what I needed to complete my repairs this time around.
