Stuff the Countach. I loved Boras when I was a kid (still do). Saw one for sale at Le Mans classic but it didn't sell at the auction. 1970s at their best.
I saw that too at the LMC. Do we know what it was bid to, obvs without selling?

Sorry no idea. I was/ am not pecunious enough for it to matter to me.
I know it's sad isn't it. I'm not wealthy either, but am now comfortable and old enough, having a "well paid" job for the first time in my life mid-40s, to know that if I'd managed the equivalent mid 30s, even adjusted for inflation, I could have had one before the last silly boom. Or a Khamsin. Or an Espada/ Jalpa / Countach (at a push. I remember them below 50k not that long ago). Testarossa.... 308.... Dino... Montreal...

The problem is, as we all know, parts availability to restore these beautiful cars. I visited a specialist in Modena and he is no longer taking on projects because even there they can’t find the parts and the jobs just take forever. He mentioned €150-180k (back of the envelope) to do a complete restoration on a 70’s Maserati so it would probably end up being considerably more when all is said and done..his advice was to just get the best car you can get and forget projects unless money is no object. Of course the rarer the car, the more is may make sense as long as parts can still be found. So many cars have been restored by now that most spare parts are now gone.

Had a good look at that car last year (post #1), and spoke to the owner. Absolutely gorgeous (the Bora that is). And it gets driven!
