Reaching out to the font of knowledge that is this forum. I am looking for a reasonable pair of lightish weight wireless headphones. These will be used for playing along to others , ie studio use. I did a search and Sennheiser momentum was recommended, which appear fine. I just wondered what others recommend.

There are MK4 versions of both of these but you won't be disappointed with the MK3

Don't think you can get this quality of sound by spending less , you can't , they sound fantastic , I have the wireless buds my son has the over ear

I have the M3 in ear and the M4 over ear. They are both outstanding. Well worth the money. Was never convinced of over ear units, but if I had to choose one or the other, the over ear win every time.

Bought these for wife recently with 'some' expectation, but they have totally surpassed even my expectations too (I am a bit of a hifi geek). Great sound quite well built, battery lasts for days and touch functions make it easy to skip tracks etc.

I have some AKG ones. I wouldn’t buy headphones from any brand except a headphone specialist. So AKG, Sennheiser, Audio Technic.

I've always appreciated the timbre of Sennheiser. Light, comfortable and can cater from the complexity of piano, through orchestra to experimental techno

I have the Sennheiser M2 AEBT and been really impressed with them. I use them on my bike trainer and they cancel the noise from the motor. Also use them for watching movies and listening to stuff at night.

You get a little bit of noise when you turn the on as part of the active.noise cancelling ironically but not much and you don't notice it as soon as you start playing stuff.

I use them Bluetooth to an adapterr on the TV's that works well.

They also are passive non powered wired as well which is nice.

Big admirer of Sennheiser especially their mics back in the day but thought the headphones I bought a couple of years ago to be very cheaply made and got slung when they soon went wrong.

Thank you all. Going for Sennheiser Momentum 3 over ears. I shall give my verdict, though biased towards drumming lol, once I have tried them a few times.
