Hi my wing mirror case as a small break,I cannot justify £400+ for a mirror so wish to repair but need to know how to remove the glass without damaging anything....cheers in advance
Put mirror into full up-tilt.
Place masking tape over shell and glass to stop it flinging out.
Use a wide flat spatula on the bottom of the glass and gently leaver out.

the glass has plastic backplate with circular retaining clip, similar to wheel centre cap. There might also be a wire if mirror glass is heated, this will stop it falling right out.
