Window Regulator / Lift Mechanism

So, I have a 2004 Coupe and when I bought the car about 3 years ago it had several issues, one being that the drivers side window was inoperative. I had the car in at a body shop for some PDF and had them look at it while It was in there. They said the window lift was bad and needed a new one and luckily they were ok with me supplying the parts as I found one for approximately $500 at the time versus $1100 ish from Maserati. They did a good job and it works perfectly........then I noticed recently that the passenger side was having issues. It never really opened as much when you grabbed the handle etc. but this time it made some noise and fell about 6 inches. I took the interior panel off, which I had done before with new speakers and so I reacquainted myself and tried to look what was going on. I could here the motor working but no movement. I felt the teeth on the arm and a few felt worn. I looked at the threads on here and knew maybe it was the little cog gear that goes bad. Well I decided to order a new one and got a very good deal from Euro spares and believe it or not had it in 2 days!!!! Crazy fast. So I worked slowly and took out the existing mechanism. I held up the window by pulling it up and using vise grips under it clamped to the window track. Once I got the mechanism out........it was in 2 pieces. The traditional weld issue broke it in half and the gear was also destroyed. I was able to get the new lift in and greased the slides a bit and all finished.....and it actually worked. I have some passenger side spare parts if needed by someone. motor, spring etc. Let me know if that helps anyone. I would not have attempted it without the forum help. Thanks Mark
