Great thanks, looks like the 5.0 it is then.I bought the MXS 5.0
It probably has way more function than I'll use but you never know. it has a bike mode which was a bonus as I have alot of bikes....
When I started my first job in 1979 and got my first wage, I decided to buy a 'music centre', in the end I picked the anodised-bronze Marantz one after religiously counting the buttons and lights and chose it cos it had the most of both....Any of them but the 5.0 has a pleasing number of LEDs

Had a graphic equaliser.....
Graphic equalizers are cheating

I use a CTEK MXS-5 on my BM and that has two heavy duty batteries in the boot, and an MXS-3.8 on the 4200, so either will be sufficient for your requirements.Hi all,
There are lots of threads on chargers and most point towards the CTEK brand. There are also lots of CTEK chargers so any pointers on which model I should buy as a trickle charger for the Stradale??
Thank, Mark.
Good choice, you won’t be sorry. Thanks, I bought the MXS 5.0 and so far so good....
Aldi from 7 Feb
XS charger looks similar to a ctek - £12.99
Also car polisher £39.99
Be aware that a CTEK resets itself in the event of a power outage. The XS from Aldi does not. So if you are awsy awhile and if you get a power interruption, the XS has to be manually reset.
As in, it doesn't continue to charge so you have to turn it back on?
Got the Aldi one yesterday. Instructions say to disconnect both pos and neg leads before connecting the charger ??????
