Where to get parts in the UK

Hi All,
I've just started sanding down my QP ....... that's not as bad as it sounds! My son is a qualified detailer and as a background task is doing a full strip-down, paint correction and ceramic coating.
(for those interested in this sort of thing, he's using Nikken Unigrit 3000).
One thing he's about to do is remove some of the decal and has asked me to get some new replacements. I would like to source original parts. Can anybody help me with where in the UK is the best place to get parts please? I've found a couple online, but I know that this is the correct place to ask this type of question and get good advice.
Thanks.
Ian

Here's a couple of pictures of one side having been taken back (it's a long process):-

There are a few places to start here. For new, try the online suppliers like Scuderia Car Parts or Eurospares. Ross @ Meridien Modena may be able to get them and there is a discount for forum members.

For used, David Askew or PCCP. They are forum sponsors, contact details at the top of the different forum sections.

As above...

Also try... Rain dance, pray to whatever deity, ritual sacrifice... Ok maybe not the last one

But seriously if you get stuck ask here and someone might have the part you need under the bed in their spare room

Hi Zep, thanks for the speedy response. I will take a look at these. I imagine long-term I'm going to need access to parts as well as decal bits.

Looking forward to seeing the finished article. He may get a lot of work as we like a good detail.
I bought some of the aliexpress c pillar decals and they were very good for the price. No different to oem to be fair. They were $16.10 delivered.

Just been through this process after some paint work/correction that didnt make the grade. ( too much of the citrus fruit about it )
2000grt, then 3000grt, then cut with G3, followed by Meguiars compound, then Meguiars polish, then final Menzerna 3800 superfine finishing polish , then a R222 wax...
D.A.s make life a lot easier..although I admit, I was afraid of the machine at first. That turned out to be a mistake. Easier to maintain consistency than hands, on barely cured lacquer, and being a bit green myself an' all..>! :thumb3:

Hi TimR,
You were brave. Yes it's frustrating having such beautiful cars and in some cases less than perfect paint finish. Apparently the Maserati's have very thick paintwork so allows for some good correction.
I asked Nick (my son) and he says the Meguiars paper is the Nikken, but he uses so much of it that he orders it directly from the manufacturer (NIHON KENSHI Co) in Japan. We're going to use Gtechniq ceramic coating apparently. I'm glad he's doing it because he sits for hours on just a small area of the car!
I'll post some pictures when finished.

I really wouldn't duly worry about todays Maser paintwork specs as in a few years time they'll be history or in a museum!
