The tasting notes are pretty spot on. It's got a bit of an edge to it. Needs a good dash of water to bring out the subtleties.

Probably not something you could get in the UK but delicious none the less if you’re into Riesling - they age surprisingly well

Could only have one C as it is rather sweet. Have two magnums of Angel if you fancy popping around

Most kind! I suspect Mrs C would rather I was at home when she arrived, though. Given it's the first weekend of the month, there will be something with bubbles in it tonight. She started the tradition in Lockdown 1.0 she can damned well carry it on :D

Another Sainsbury's special after a couple of disappointing (but not unexpectedly so) bottles from Laithwaites.

Auchentoshan is not normally a malt I'd pick. I tend do find it too sweet and simple but, hey. £20. And this is rather yummy. Much less thunderous and treacly.
