Alex loves most (all) rum. But it’s my nemesis.
On our honeymoon in St Lucia we went on a tour, at the end of the day it was a rum session.

I, like everyone else on the boat could barely stand, Alex was drinking the locals under the table.

I’ve never been so proud!
Drinking anything else she’s rubbish. Drinking rum, she’s a pirate!

Thanks. Today is a rest day on the Giro di Brynymor, so I’ve done that rare thing and sat in the garden listening to a whole album. The Colour of Spring by Talk Talk from 1986. I think I kinda knew it transcended the usual pop stuff at the time (I was into indie music) and it really does stack up as a work of art after all these years. Including the mouth organ bits.
