What you drinking now?

I have a large zinc water trough, half filled with water and ice. The type used on the farm for the cows to drink from. Easily holds all the wines, beers, spirits, mixers and soft drinks needed for a party. Inexpensive and looks okay even indoors being clean zinc. (You can them from an agricultural suppliers in various sizes.)

Are they really a 9 liter bottle of Champagne ?
Coming from Somerset I've never seen one until on here.
Quite a Party then Ewan :)

Excellent tip, thanks!

We do the less posh version for our BBQs. big plastic containers full of water and ice, one for beers, ciders and one for soft drinks. We don't use for wine as the labels tend to come off.

Don’t forget to stock spare top up bottles so that the decanters are never empty.. :)

Yeah, but the port won't keep all that well. Had to be done.

We used to have a couple of trugs for exactly that.

Lambs spiced rum, crushed lime segments, dash of bitters and topped off with soda and ice. the Lambs spiced rum is nice but very heavy on vanilla so left a pierced birds eye chilli and cinnamon stick in bottle for a few of nights to balance it out a bit more..........longest 3 nights of my life lol

Sounds like a cracking idea :)
