Decent, as good as any cremant really. They been producing sparkling wine in Alsace since the early 1900’s. Official appellation given in 1976.

Yeah, we've had some. Typically better value than the more common sparkinglings like Cava or Prosecco IME. I'd tend to Cremant de Borgogne where I can but there's not a load in it.

Visited their centre in Egilshine a couple of years back...bought back a half case of this and some other tall bottles that were...well reasonable.

I do like Cabernet Franc as a grape. I recall being introduced to it about 25 years ago
