Got to agree, this was in our set for a good few years.

Oh my God.....Just seen on FB that Paul Raymond passed away last night. Such sad news as this is the bands last ever tour that Paul has been loving. Was following his post this week on the last London shows. i met Pail many years ago and he was a true gent and great musician.

So sad to read that. At least he enjoyed and completed the last UK shows. They were such a big part of my youth, saw them 5 or 6 times late 70's early 80's.

The last week on social media he was saying how much he was loving the last tour and posting every night to say so. Like you I followed them throughout their carreer. On the Mechanix tour I saw them 5 times.

I saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon in the mid 80s, got a ticket off a tout about 5 minutes after the show started at a reduced rate, excellent night, a great bunch of musicians including the late great drummer Jeff Porcaro.

Although not a great fan of the music, ( Toto,) although I could appreciate it, Joe Porcaro was a big influence in my drumming, Loved the Rosanna shuffle. He was in Sonny and Chers band and played on so many sessions. Look him up, you will amazed on what he played on.

This man is highly rated Allan amongst you drummers, Bernard Purdie.

Gone but not forgotten. Poly was great, the songs very prophetic.
Germ Free Adolescents is still a favourite album. This from her last.
