Canadian rocker Lee Aaron. Loved her in the 80's. She was dubbed the Metal Queen back then...I lost track of her in the late 90's but just rediscovered her and really liking her latest music.

Saw her in Birmgham Odeon back in the early 80's. I think she supported Bon Jovi. Whilst looking threw her old LP's this picture was in one of the sleeves of myself with Lee Aaron by the backstage door.........Was I really that young.

Wow Lee Aaron - she's a blast from the past. And still rather sexy :)

I have got Lee Aaron on vinyl and may give it a spin when I get home.

Must have drunk too much yesterday evening. Easy Livin’ by Fastway being the track of choice (according to looking at yesterday’s playlist today).

Oh, and went to the O2 Bournemouth last week to see the Black Star Riders (again).

She certainly is...Lee has got better with age musically and the way she looks for me....in the 80's the record company was pulling the strings but now Lee is making the music she wants to an enjoying it.

And something very early from the Lee Aaron project. First LP......You can see what the record company was pushing at the time...

Last couple of days been debating with a friend which is the best Jam album. personally it's All Mod Cons but he is adament Setting Sons is better. So I have spent quite some time listening to both and bizarrely find that Setting Sons has better songs but All Mod Cons is still the better album

Back in the day when people wrote albums, not just put some great singles together. cf Dark Side Of The Moon etc etc

Agreed, this whole conversation started when we started discussing turntables which followed into the vinyl experience which moved on to the concept of a properly formed album

Yes. Very different to even the CD experience, and the streaming experience.

I still tend to listen to albums. Very rarely do I just play a 'list'

Best Live albums (may have posted before) imho
1 Get your Ya Ya's out = Stones
2 Pack up the plantation = T Petty
3 Hot August night (first one) = N Diamond
They give a good total experience

Is the correct answ... no, that can't be right, Debbie Harry would have to feature in the ultimate 80s pop fantasy harem. The nanas yes please, Jay Aston was hot but Cheryl "suck the colour from a marble" Baker less so.

Who's that girl by the Eurythmics, they all appeared in the video.

Have to disagree about Cheryl Baker, in her Bucks Fizz days she was high up on my older woman fantasy list
