What ya listening to now ???

Tonight Matthew, this. Not content with listening to this constantly (well, almost) since 1992, buying the CD, converting it to MP3 (higher and higher quality), FLAC etc I now have it on picture disc double album remastered 180g vinyl.

It sounds so much more errr colourful... ;)

I'm moving on up!

Primal Scream and Screamadelica. Is there a better album from the 1990's? S Club 7? Maybe...
Not much competition as most 90s albums were and still are **** (read not very good)

John Martyn was a troubled soul who lost two of his mates at a young age, Nick Drake and Paul Kossoff. Seeing him perform this at the Town & Country Club in the mid 80s is one of my favourite musical shows.

Tonight, The Charlatans. Not seen them for 35 years in this very auditorium, Manchester Academy. The time before that, the day before!

Still my favourite PF album

I'm pretty much split between Dark Side, WYWH, The Division Bell and Momentary lapse. (And Pulse) Of course as a teen I listened to The Wall until the stylus wore through the vinyl. Can't see myself listening to it any time soon...

Never been a big fan of The Wall the only time I listen to it is when I have my record collection on random play and then its nice to hear the odd track.

LM buddy and I are off across the pond in February for the NASCAR Daytona 500 and have just agreed our playlist format. Three playlists of 20 tracks one each for Female, Male & Groups but who all must be American. Additionally each playlist must have at least one link across all tracks in that playlist. Currently I'm thinking US States, Never had a billboard No 1 and are no longer with us but that might change as I start to do some research.

Very much an album though, as it was in the old days. Apart from 'Another brick in the wall Pt 3' (or whichever one it was) not real singles on it
