It seems like just a few years ago when these and Def Leppard were young upstarts and I would argue with my girlfriend that they weren't a patch on Free and Bad Company, suddenly we're in our 60s.
Not so young anymore.

Agree, those years have flown by. Feels
Like yesterday I seeing them in the Killers tour in Bristol. 43 years old the first LP…Still sounds epic today though. Back then Maiden and Def Leppard were my two favourite bands. Off to see Def Leppard at Wembley in the summer.

Where was that KB?
Trading Boundaries in Sussex.

Steve does one Xmas acoustic each year with his brother John. It’s actually his annual family get together weekend (the owner Michael is a super chap and one of his best friends).

Steve brings Rob and Roger along, to add a few instruments and extra laughter. About 100 pax invited (paid) and I guess that pays for their weekend away!

These were a local band in the NWOBHM era that played local at Cambridge Sea Cadets Hall.
Halcyon days

Re-awoken Debussy, Chopin, de Falla, Ernesto Lucuano, Paganini, Rachmaninoff, Lizt, Satie, and the heart stopping passionate romantics that I used to play, thanks to 'The Piano'. Some exceptional virtuosi overshadowed by the need for inspirational backstop. A shame really. Who the heck is 'Mikka' and why? May even prompt me to have the dear old thing tuned and reinvigorate the fingers. I may be a while though
