I though it was a terrible line up this year for bigger bands and tomorrow they wheel out Paul McCartney for feck sake who hasn’t been able to sing for years. Billy I rather like though last night.

Oh yes. No entirely sure he's been ever able to sing live, TBH. Not to say I don't like some of his music, mind.

Wasn't feeling the love for Billy. The adulation is a bit much as well. Would be quite refreshing if they turned round and went 'Yeah, that was OK but she was much better at the O2 last year' or 'God did you hear her miss that note on the intro'

You know, like in the real world ;)

I laughed when she was asking the screaming teeny-boppers at the left and right of the stage how they were doing. The left side of the audience shrieked and cheered. Then the right side tried to squeal louder. Then she said “how are you all doin’ at the back?” The response was a boo about 2 octaves lower! I turned over the channel soon afterwards and watched a documentary about Robert Plant on BBC4.

To be fair, the adulation seems to be plastered out on everyone so. I mean, McCartney is playing tonight(?) and I bet everyone will say it's utterly marvellous, wonderful etc. When objectively the man can't carry a tune in a bucket. <shrug>

My 91 year old mother always maintains that George Harrison had the best voice.
