When she left Gossip Girl and said she was joining a band I thought, oh another wannabe rock star trading on fame. But they’re actually rather brilliant.

No agree actor turning Rock star you never know how that would turn out. Who would have thought that little girl in the Gringe would turn into a rock goddess.

This is another great song of the new LP. I have posted before but worth another listen.has a Bond theme tune about it......

This new LP feels like it will be just brilliant. The 1st and 2 LP were both brilliant pieces of the work with the third seeing more experimental songs and the new one feels like it's going back to what they do best.

Feb 10th 1978 my favourite debut LP from any band was released so a track from that is required today. The LP, guitar player and sound that influenced many that came after....and this song because it was the first Van Halen riff I every learnt to play. Love it.

I am listening to the new Pretty Reckless LP which came out today and was waiting for me when I got home....and....its fecking brilliant as I expected. LP of the year so far for me and I don't think it will be beaten either...Plus you get a poster of Taylor with her baps out as well. Which I am disgusted with and will have to think about sending a stiff stern letter.

Yesterday we lost the greatest recording studio pioneer in history, Rupert Neve and to boot a total gentleman. He was my boss in the 80s and remained a good friend. If anybody hasn't seen it check out Dave Grohl's Sound City movie.
R.I.P my friend and mentor.
