What projects to do on the car whilst isolating?

2 155s, I try to keep them in pairs to stop children (Sarah & I) arguing about who gets what. I think I need to hunt down some Maseratis as they are missing from the fleet

I have a tin 250F....Lovely thing.....So lovely I don't let the boys near it :) ..... 4200 racer is a good one to.

Brilliant Andy....Good to see she is still alive and still looking great for her age.

I also washed the Range Rover which was 3 times as dirty, took 3 times as long (even needed the step ladder) and didn't come up as good as the BMW

The only thing that lets it down is the rot in the rear arches (not got any worse) if she runs through through the summer with no issues I might get it sorted later in the year.

Becoming a classic Andy with that engine. Even so two years motoring for £900 isn't bad. Someone would probably buy it to do it up. Don't know how much she is worth now but get it ain't much less than you paid....Maybe.

Once it's irish plates with VRT covered it will be worth €1.5-2k over here. If it was a 320 it would be half that again but the road tax over here kills anything over 2.0.

It certainly doesn't owe me anything even with the servicing, brakes, front suspension bushes and water pump all everyday maintenance costs and even better it is such a nice car to drive

When it is a little more clement here I'll get on and change the door lock mechanisms on the GS so the central locking can work again! It locks ok but cannot unlock remotely!

Not part of the planned spring maint. but now I'll be changing out the 2 mid hard brake lines on the spyder. Went to take food to my mother Sunday, got into town and at the first light the brake pedal went to the floor. Pumping furiously, I got her stopped without external assistance (hitting something). Pulled into a parking lot trailing a line of brake fluid, and dumped the rest out sitting there. Rollback home. Has anyone had a hardline failure on one of these before? I haven't the time to look at it closely but it looks like a longitudinal split in the line. Fortunately Scuderia has them for about $18 each. Maybe back for help with bleeding the anti-lock module when I'm done.

I replaced all my hard lines a few years ago as they all had surface corrosion, especially the near side ones that run to the rear.
You were very lucky there to be low speed

They do rot out - here we get them tested every year for road worthiness ( aka MOT)- it would get flagged before they failed...one would hope ! Mine got the comment of disapproval long before they were likely to fail....Thats pretty scary .
Greg is right...you got lucky...!

Irish VRT exemption came through today, so as soon as the NCT centre is open again she will be getting an Irish registration

Be prepared to replace most of them, the joints corrode and are impossible to get apart without damaging the pipe, ask me how I know

I've got 2 jobs tomorrow , birmingham and darwen , I'm just glad to get out of the house

Though I have been playing with an electric screen and some kef speakers today 67767

Jobs on the car , got some sequential indicator things to fit , just bought some of those alloygator wheel protectors but it's been too cold to faff about outside.
