I wish I had an update, however despite this being 2 weeks since initially reported and 10 days since confirmed, there is no courtesy car (BMW 420) available so I have heard nothing. Remember, this is for the repair of a repair!

Kind of typical. I've been waiting to hear back from them regarding a warranty claim on corroded wheel centres for months, though I've not pushed because I've not really been in a position to get the car over to them. Tried calling this morning and am waiting for a call back.

Annoying, but hardly a disaster, shows MD in a bad light though.
This is true. The car is fine to drive etc.. but paying what you pay for Maserati service and not getting even good service is pretty poor.

I got mine replaced a bit ago. Doesnt look like they last long as the new ones arent in great shape already

I'm expecting a bit of a long term battle here as I reported it, with photos, to someone who has left before the warranty expired. The warranty has now expired, I didn't extend it, so who is going to pick this up?

Booked in for 50k service and quoted a little over £1100 for the privilege. Will see what it comes in at.

If you've still got the sent email or message it should be ok if you show them.

Next service I am going to get a quote from Bowker in Lancashire. It will be interesting to compare the 2. Bowker isnt Ferrari aswell, so may be less

I spoke to Bowker about the SatNav update and they put me off as they quoted me more than JCT600. Will be interesting to hear what the service costs are, though its so much further for me to not be worth it.

Just got it back (they took it Tues), with another set of washers fitted. I am really hoping that was the issue.. !

does anyone know if you can block off a pipe from the washer bottle to the headlamps?

I was also quoted over £1100 for fixing the washer leak.

I didn’t even want headlamp washers, so I simply removed the fuse. No issues for 6 months.

But the leak has returned from the same headlight washer , even though they’ve been disabled. I’m reluctant to spend £1100 on an accessory I don’t want and seems to last 3 years.....

Seems excessive, Gransport headlight washer is circa £90, you should be able to simply detach the hose to it and fit a bung.

Looking at the (very useful) eurospares parts drawings, there’s a pipe that runs down the nsf wing to the headlight mechanism. I wonder if it’s possible to block this pipe (like a stopcock! ) to fully disable the headlight washers

You could try. When I was investigating this I couldnt see anything, short of removing the front bumper. In the end I just bit the very bitter bullet and got it done. You will need a friendly MOT garage if you do block it off as its an MOT fail.
