I have a leaking shock absorber on my QP. Which is not ideal - and an MOT fail. Turns out the replacement parts (non-Skyhook) only come in pairs, at £1,042 for shocks & bushes. Aieeee! Shipped from Italy - takes a week or two.

Also need one for my Fiat Punto. £23.

Terrible, those Fiat prices!

Only joking, that is a PITA but didn't someone else have this 'only in pairs BS'

Front:
306175
Rear:
306176 (I *think*)
Both available singly. Skyhook are in pairs only....

I have spare rear shock for a QP, but its for a 2005/6 QP, so might not fit a 2009 car like yours.

This post is shocking and totally out of order, you need a new suspension for this!!!!

I had that ‘only in pairs’ issue but a quick call to Ross @Meridien and he supplied me a single shock for half the price. Even honoured the SM discount.

Yup, Garry got new shocks from Ross recently as well. I'd call him at least for a comparison etc

I suppose that works if he can keep the other in stock for later. I'm told that Italy will only ship pairs.

aren't the non-skyhook ones Bilstein? Bilsteins are re-valveable
I spoke to someone at Bilstein UK who seemed to think that 3200s were definitely Bilsteins, but QPVs probably not. But he didn't sound very sure.

I thought Bilsteins were only used on the GTS versions. But I could be wrong.

They don’t make to order.. they will get Mario or Luigi to pick that part and package it... Meridien usually bulk order a shipment each week.

Trying to get anything out of Italy in August is nigh impossible Phil!

Sorted. David Askew sold me a pair of bargain used shocks, and Migliore put them on in a trice. Just need to get the MoT re-done. I now have the two old ones lying in the boot.....
