Well priced MC Stradale

50k ....WOW....That does seem well priced. The fact it's the only 4 seater I can find on AT for sale you would think it was supply and demand. Didn't think the Stradale had dropped much but then you don't see them for sale that often now.

Where does it say it is £50k?

54 stills sounds good price for a Stradale....Whats you expert thoughts Dicky. Just don’t see many for sale to compare these days. That 2 seater has been around for an age and seems like it will never sell but anything else seems to sell relatively quickly.

The 2 seater has been advertised for 4 years constantly so I’d ignore that if I were you. This one at GC is priced as you’d expect, it’s done 35k miles and you’d be the sixth keeper. The one at Shiltech is priced fairly if it is spot on, the one privately in Wiltshire would require a PPI.

I went from AT to their website to view details.
I just went back to get a screenshot and it is now showing the same price as AT!?
Maybe worth calling them to check...

I don’t wish to buy it, but if anyone does, £50k is a lot better than £55k. Inspection at JCT600, or by Marios required, and clutch will likely be getting towards the end of its life.

Would you retail this Richard if offered it, or would the number of owners put you off?

I haven’t seen, or inspected the car, so couldn’t say, but 5 keepers would not stop me from doing so. If those 5 keepers haven’t looked after it, then it would. A couple of minor indicators from the photos, it requires a new MC Stradale badge on the dash, and the front grille is broken. Key things like this show how well it has been ‘cherished’.

I want one but with four seats and not in black, white or red :f7:. I love the colour combination on my GTS so not sure if its worth the upgrade. I should really go and try one.

Had my two seater 3 years now. Has 30k miles on her but mint. I value it at £56k in the current market.

I paid £60k for it, cheap motoring and massive fun.

Ok we do talk them up on her but the performance market is crushed at the moment, look at McLaren.

Am I expecting the Strad to go up anytime soon, no.

I’m over the value thing, and considering just keeping it and sod the mileage. But this is this weeks thinking, I do change my mind frequently. :D

The market is very busy, not just me. The McLaren prices are a McLaren specific issue. Oversupply and build quality, warranty and servicing issues.

If it was a special colour (for me) such as Blue I would be going to view it. Grey would be my second choice but the Gallardo and the Porsche are Grey too! Also the 5 owners would put me off slightly.
Do you think the Stradale experience is worth the additional expenditure? I have the Gallardo as the weekend toy so I would really need to wait for the right one to come along.

A Stradale is worth every penny over any other Granturismo. Just like a 911 GT3 is worth more than the sum of its parts, so is the Stradale. Add in the low production volume and ridiculous good looks and you have a modern classic. As Matt mentioned above, it's not likely to go up in value anytime in the next decade however they don't really depreciate very much either so you can likely own one for a few years, 10k miles and see much of your money back. Nobody knows for sure but that's what they've been doing for several years now. I paid 67k for mine with 5k miles on it, I won't say what Zep bought it for with 12k miles on it but not too far away. It's now worth somewhere between 55 and 60k and is in its 9th year. Not much can beat that in the market.

Oh, that's a 2-seater, same at Matt's. If Maserati are to be believed, they made less than 80 RHD 2-seaters for the UK market. That makes it very low volume indeed. About double the number of 4-seaters are around and what's happened is that the 2 versions are worth the same even though the 4-seater is newer and cost slightly more. I think that will continue with both being desirable in their own ways. The 2-seater is daft as the back is wasted space (unless there's the rare roll cage) but this may make it more special to the market one day. But we're talking years and years from now when petrol v8 nostalgia is at its peak as we all get in hydrogen powered Volkswagens that automatically take us where we are going and take the cost straight from our banks and report it to HMRC.....

Not sure what the forum policy is on name and shame, but I would never ever touch anything sold by this dealer after what I went through last time!

My advice, spend a little bit more and buy it from Dicky, just like many other have said on this forum.

Walk away... in fact run away from this dealer
