Wedding Duties

The other halfs sister is getting married today, and it was decreed by the ladies that the Maserati had to be a wedding car and deliver mum to the ceremony. So I treated it to an alloy wheel refurb at my local friendly body shop, who I have to say have done a stunning job and at a very good price! Quick wash and polish and on with the ribbon. I believe there is going to be a classic Cadillac there today too so will update with some "group" photos later!

On a downer...they are thinking of putting classic owners out of the wedding car market....new EU law.......lawcommision.justice.gov.uk......number 1804........effectively the cost of then licensing too much for most.....gits

Back in the land of the living now.. just about :)

Was a great day and the weather even managed to play ball! The Maserati was a popular talking point and I kept getting asked to start it up so they could listen to it.. the joys of having straight through pipes at the rear :)

Couple more pictures from the day..

It's just such a timeless classic of a shape. Despite being over a decade old it still looks so fresh and sharp and always garners admiring looks. Helps that they're incredibly rare on the roads too!
