That ain't bad. I had paid £56 for r.h. cover for the Turbo last year. But one consolation is it is chrome finish and does not require spraying to match the body colour.
I'd jump at that price and buy a matching pair.

They are NLA - no long available. 4200 spares dwindling with more and more NLA

German eBay - approx £100 delivered though.
Get it, scan it, create both RH & LH images & 3D print.

Is there an opportunity for someone with a 3d printer to help out long term, assuming one can be found for a pattern?

Eurospares don't have a used one listed but they have dismantled numerous 4200s and GSs so they may have one still on the shelf or still on a car. I have bought items from them before which they have not shown as being available used on their website, but they do have for sale

Apologies for thread resurrection but I am now unfortunately missing the exact same part, my RH one has flown off my GS somewhere between the Derbyshire Dales and Droitwich Spa. If anyone has one, knows where there is one, or can potentially lend one to try and get a copy made please let me know.

This is possibly the best solution. They are a small part that could easily be scanned in and built.

A nice little earner for someone with the facilities.

Just a bump. Still looking for a RH one, any that were/are available on ebay, etc seem to be LH. RH is indeed NLA and apparently rarer than rocking horse droppings.

I have actually bought a new LH one from Eurospares, so if a RH one can be located I could look at getting both scanned for future 3D print or possibly lend to someone else on here who has the ability to do this. Or can you flip the 3D scan?

The other option is to cut the plastic lugs off and make new ones, to get the LH one to fit. It appears on a quick check that it would flip round...but given the cost of such a small part I am loathe to do that just yet!

Sopranostu has a couple of washers with covers on ebay. Not sure if they are both lhs, but he may split washer and cover if he has a right hand one

Yes, the scan can be flipped...

3D Scan technology must be the way to go with parts like this, a guy on one of the Alfa forums has just started producing unobtainable 155 door mirror parts via 3D scan. I have ordered some for my Q4 so will see how we go

I have the same problem on my GS - lost the right hand one and have tried everywhere. Walked the road where I think I could have lost it to no avail...
I agree that 3D printing could be the way to go. Would it be flipped from the left hand one down the centre line from top to bottom?

Not sure if my broken one which Matt and Ashley replaced last summer is still in their shop... could be used as a basis for a scan... not sure where it was broken though.

Thanks for that. It’s surprising that as so many seem to come off and be lost that they haven’t kept some in stock. Obviously a bad design here....

We have a new LH one and my brother is drawing it up.

We will also be ‘beefing up’ the fragile mounting clip.

We will then look to get them 3D printed.

Yes, it is a direct mirror of the other side.
