Another option:

Sounds like it could be missing some service history, and undoubtedly will need work. But will probably go through the auction very cheaply because of that.

Money pit, or bargain? Anyone's guess!

Thats so tempting , but wife after a range rover, but realising 10k budget is no mans land for a range rover, as most in budget have well over 100k and high risk turbos going it appears

There's a nice looking 2006 supercharged Rangie in the same auction. These are great cars, and no pesky turbo's to worry about. Cheap, so will leave you plenty of excess cash for the petrol.

Registed 20/06/2006 3 days before the ved doubled so £360 instead of £600 odd too

Plus now petrol is 20-25p cheaper than diesel there's not 'that' much in it

( ill just fill it up for my wife first few times and try and hide the mpg bit) she did like her cayenne turbo before a leaking sunroof caused many elec problems
