I've edited this down so it's less wordy!

Wanted - Maserati 3200 Manual.

Must be manual.

Price flexible, up to circa £15k. Open to much cheaper cars with issues. Quick hassle free sale.

Ideally black car with any colour interior.

Hi everyone, it's a bit of a hello too as I'm fairly new to the site!

I'm looking for a 3200 Manual. I'm not saying I wouldn't consider an auto but it would need to be extremely cheap. I do appreciate that the auto box does suit the 3200 but it isn't what I want sadly.

I'm realistic enough to not have a set colour in mind, but black/grey/red with black leather would be perfect. However I'm flexible.

I'm also not looking for a low mileage car, quite happy with a car with miles on, a car with issues would also be of interest including cars needing recommissioning, I restore classic cars (not Maseratis) so any work I'll be doing on the car will be me doing it.

Budget wise I'm flexible. I wouldn't want to spend over 15k for a very well sorted nice car, I'd just as happily pay a lot less for a car with a bucket load of issues, like anything it's a points game, if the right colour combo manual car came up I'd be more flexible on price or problems.

I will emphasise this point, I'm not a time waster, if you've got a car I'm perfectly happy to jump in the car and come and have a look and if it's right shake your hand and leave a deposit, arranging full payment shortly after and collection. Likewise I'm not in a mega rush, my wife and I are lucky enough to own some nice cars, if for some reason there was a car that would only be available in a few months time I could wait.

Also while I restore classics I'm not a trader in the traditional sense, this is a car to replace my much missed Porsche 964 which I regret selling some years back, my aim is to use it regularly and properly, it won't be getting bought to make a few quid on, indeed if it's a car with issues it will most likely be saving it from the breakers.

964 was a great car, I had an H plate Carrera 4 in Grand Prix white. Dealers didn't want to touch them, and years later the market went nuts. I traded my car for £15k against a 993, it was absolutely mint, to the extent it was borrowed by Porsche. In hindsight, I gave it away.
Maserati seem similarly undervalued now, perhaps their time will come?

Hi Bilko, please by all means drop me a message with the price your after, it's not the colour combo I'm after at all, but if the car and price are right I could overlook that.

Lavazza, yes I feel your pain, I wisely sold both my elan sprint and 964 just at the point they were about to start climbing. But I have won on some as well. But I'd still kill to have a 964 again.

It would be lovely if the 3200s did rise hard after buying one, but it's going to be in the "forever" stable of cars we've got, so in the grand scheme of things it's more important I find one I like than the best for a price rise.

Its a bit Marmite....!

If the leather were black, you might do something with it...
