Wanted - Granturismo Wheel Arch Liners

I'm after a set of four wheel arch liners for a Granturismo to fit to my Trofeo car. It picks up an incredible amount of road debris and stones which can shoot straight down into the tubular chassis sections which I want to avoid.
Does anyone have a set, used or new, which they wish to sell?
Thank you

I should just say, I now have these arch liners - thanks.

I have received numerous messages from newcomers saying that they have sets available for a good price, who knew? I wonder if they also have an uncle in Nigeria who needs my assistance in getting some funds released ...

Ah. Didn’t spot this one. He is gone.

Could you ping a list of the members who messaged you?

I give up.. I am only trying to get 10,000,000 naira from my Friend General Adegbe in Nigeria into a UK bank account. Why are so many people so distrusting ..........

BTW I adore your Trofeo, what an endeavour and looking superb.

I’ve just had my GranTurismo undersealed (thanks Matt for recommending this on the forum) but the wheelarch liners disintegrated when being removed so I need to decide what to fit next (if anything). It was pointed out to me that the ‘carpet style’ OEM liners held a lot of water on the wing which was not good. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket plastic ones which will hold less water?

PS I can’t believe how loud the siren is for locking/unlocking now I have no liners.

I've not heard of any other type of wheel arch liner. I think the OEM carpet style is the only type. What's on the Stradale?

Same carpet.

What I would do Bob if you fancy a bit of a project is do what we used to do in Group N and buy sheets of neoprene in black, cut them to the same shape using the old ones. I would also modify it slight so it comes out and protects the lower rear of the arches where the road rash strips the paint. Places like DemonTweeks do it my the meter. Get the thinnest you can as it’s quite dense and heavy

I admire your practicality. My liners are in bits in a skip so the template option is gone. Is there a downside to running without the fabric liners? In essence I now have dinitrol liners which cover things quite nicely other than not being as pretty if you look in the arches.

We it’s going to be noise. I suspect after a few thousand miles you are going to want to do something about it. They don’t really protect stones going in the suspension.

Also all the water is going to get thrown up in your headlight/washers area and knackered them

New ones are available at the factory and not silly money, about £80 a corner from memory.

Minimum I would fit the front arch, leading half to preserve your headlights.

In front of the front left wheel arch is the washer bottle, which is made from the same brittle material as coolant expansion bottles, so a stone hitting that wouldn't do it good. Not sure what's behind the rest of the wheel arches but I'd imagine stuff that quite useful.

The “carpet” also acts as sound deadening (which is why the beep is so loud) if that sort of thing bothers you.

Having had a good poke about I can see what you mean. At least I can now see where everything is.

Spot on. Having driven it in the recent good weather I can’t live with the noise without liners - about £600 on Eurospares including bolts and washers so not cheap.

Looking at the fix thread reminded me that the dinitrol guy reckoned that in about four years time I would have been looking at a sub frame problem without the treatment.

£600 for new liners and fixing is an absolute bargain then.
