I would give Dicky Grace a call at Richard Grace cars. Many members have purchased Maserati’s from him and it will give you peace of mind knowing you will be buying a well sorted car. He has a great reputation on here as is also happy just to talk and give you great advice with his knowledge of these cars. If I was buying this is the first port of call for me.

Welcome!

Facelift MC Shifts are indeed a rare beast - something like 40 cars registered were the MC, the rest came with the exceptionally good ZF automatic with the MC AutoShift software.

There was a chap on the Facebook group selling a rather nice red MC Shift not that long ago.

Edit: found the advert! https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202207167849551
Not a bad looking car that. I do like the contrasting seats. Looks like what the OP requires.

When ever I look at GT’s on AT that always jumps out. Stunning colour combination.

That is rather lovely. However, I have no idea if 44k for a private sale for a 13 plate is good value or not.

Appreciate all the responses
I did actually happen to view the car above only yesterday but thought that 44k as a private sale was a bit on the higher side in the current market
Unfortunately we didn’t come to a mutual agreement
I’m in no rush so don’t mind waiting it out if that’s what it has to take to get the right car

Maybe the seller will soften if no one else comes forward.
You're in a good place to be if you can wait.

I was originally searching for a pre facelift before but fell in love with the facelift
I had contacted a few sellers at the time who were pretty stubborn (don’t really blame them) but have had messages back now saying “I’ll do you a good deal “ etc due to the lack of interest which I’ve kindly declined as I’m not in the market for a pre facelift anymore
I understand as a seller you would want the best price for your car and as a buyer you’d want to pay the least you have to
As always with most things it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it

Only just a week or so ago a red 2013 mc stradale with around 44k miles was sold for 47k
I’m sure some of you guys must have seen that advertised
It had an original asking price of around 52k but the seller was forced to lower it to get a sale

The rarer end of the GranTurismo market might be firming up. In fact a facelift MC Shift might be a bit of a mini Stradale. If you want one to keep for a while I would be tempted to pay up.

I would suggest that it is over priced for a private sale. I have just bought my 14k mile 2013 Auto for £5k less than that. Demand for the MC cars is less, so I would expect the price to also be lower.

Richard Grace has recently sold a facelift MC with very low mileage for around the 43k mark.

Was that a Stradale or the look-a-like Stradale? As 47k for a Strad seems very low.

Just a little update
I don’t really know what happened but I ended up purchasing this
Hopefully picking it up tomorrow :)

Looks lovely! Very well presented in the photos.... not sure about the shift lights on the steering wheel. Congrats!
