First run out in them properly today, and I'm impressed.
Alway difficult to compare old worn out tyres with new fresh tyres, there will always be an improvement what ever the brand.
But they sure do stick that's for sure.
I've gone slightly wider than stock 245/275 instead of 235/265, having half inch wider FD rims to allow it.
They sit lovely on the rims, perfect actually, the old Mitchelin pilot sports always looked a bit stretched in comparison being 235/265.
They are XL tyres (most are these days), interestingly the original factory Mitchelins were not.
Good rim protection.
Vredestein are seen as a 'mid range' tyre, don't know why to be honest maybe because the price is competitive but they certainly look a quality tyre, made in the Netherlands not India, and also designed by Giugiaro!
Recommended, by me anyway.

Good to hear, When I come to replace mine, I will be going 245 on the front as the 235's do look slightly stretched, and consequentially do not off as much rim protection.

They have reviewed well online...
I want to replace my fronts with something, keeping my all but new Ultrac Vorti rears...I want to try something better than Vreds though...what I can’t decide?
Don’t want to underplay wet performance. Or put a tyre that over powers the Vred rears...?

Newbie question:
So If I want to have "beefy-er" looking tires (tyres Lol) in the rear, can I buy {a little} "thicker" tyres WITHOUT changing my rear rims?
