Had a look at how much the 430 sells for now as don't really follow Ferrari prices. What amazed me is that there are only nine 430's for sale on AT.....Yet there are 103 458's and 128 488's......Is that a reflection on how people view the 430....A keeper due to its more useable performance against the newer cars....?
They are confusingly listed as F430 too. There's currently 61 of them. Prices range from £60k for a left hooker (good for continental driving) to £200k+ for Scuderia.

Harvey does the car sales for Aldous now. Its all through AV.

I can also recommend Tim at Walkersport for 360/430
Harvey and Aldous parted company a while back, Harvey still sources cars independently. Tim is a great chap who knows them inside out, he’s just down the road from me.

Second Tim Walker and his Ferrari knowledge he bought my 456 totally hassle free and the deal done over the phone.

It's a beautiful thing. Voicey and his business partner used to do car sourcing as well and may well still do. Someone here will know. Might be worth getting him to keep good eyes open.

Harvey does the sourcing.
Same number as AV Engineering I believe.
430’s are obviously their speciality.

As Dicky said - Harvey isn’t involved with the business anymore and Aldous doesn’t source cars anymore either - but prob can connect you with owners that might want to be selling.

Can't have been that long. I was talking to him about it in (checks emails), actually in January 2020. Time flies when you're sat at home doing nothing

Well I think there are several factors that might explain that.
First of all they made about 2.5x more 458 than they have 430s.
Second, the 430 offers amazing value for money at the moment, and people might not want to part from them as their cars are worth more to them than what they can sell them for.

As way of example, from personal experience, I was looking at at F12 from HR Owen, and asked them to give me a PX quote for my 2008 red/tan 430 w FFSH and 20k miles and they came back with £54k.... that F12 was 6 y/o and £100k more than my 430... not worth it in my books. Same goes for a 458, I’d need to add £60-70k to get into a car that wouldn’t offer me 2x the fun and probably a less of a raw / auditory experience.

Thank you for sharing. I love my F430 and don't know what he is talking about re the steering, mine is very precise, like driving a go kart when going around the backroads.

hmmm can only find 16 directly listed via AT? searching for "all Ferrari" adding 430 into search finds 21 cars (includes one 488 pista)
Wonder if few 430 for sale due to low price + being owned outright.
The 458 / 488 might be financed so owners are getting out of deals in uncertain times?

From a selfish point of view, that is a shame to hear. I live not far from AV and Harvey would drive me home when I dropped off the car and I always enjoyed our chats about cars. The car is due a service although I was not expecting such service this time given lockdown.

All the best to both Harvey and Aldous for the future.

I’ll give you 55k.

i've been gawking at 458 prices for 2 years. about flat as far as I can tell. Good news I'd say for buyers and sellers. I'm imagining that 430's won't get much cheaper either.

Well, why not? It’s easily done. There are lots on AT at that price. Some even cheaper. And from dealers, with a warranty.

Oh no. Hang on. They are different cars, with different engines. My mistake.;)
Touché

Harrys garage review of the 430 is a good watch. He's a fan too
