Very close to being a fully fledged Gransport owner.

To bring things back on topic and ignoring Swindon bang shops!!
I've got her, collected from Paul (real nice honest guy) this morning, then had a slow (ish) drive back through Cerney lakes and over the Cotswold edge back to Gloucester.
Loving it.
Enjoy Andy, feelings mutual, nice and straightforward sale. Great to see she's gone to somebody enthusiastic with a passion for these cars and will continue to look after her and have many years and miles of enjoyment as I did over the 5 years I owned her. Forgot to say check the tyre pressures as I normally raise these when in store and cannot remember if they have been readjusted.

Pretty car :D, is it grey inside, don’t think I’ve seen a GS with that colour interior?

Forgot to mention Andy car has FD DBW fitted. http://www.formuladynamics.com/products/4200_dbwem/4200_dbwem.php
The switch is located in the drivers footwell under the dash. If you follow the line of the headlight switch down your feel the switch between the leather dash and the under trim panel,I've never drilled and fitted switch as wanted no holes in car. It's a great bit of kit and makes a massive improvement and all paperwork with folders. From memory the switch is in lower setting. Any queries give me a ring.

Yes full grey leather including the roof lining with contrasting piping, also Paul had the dash top covered in alcantara (no dash reflections) to match the carpet colour which really sets it all of nicely, it was done by an old boy who does Dick Lovetts upholstery requirements and is a work of art

Good. Another local chap

Montravia, if I'm local where are you?

Cheers for the info Paul but I'd better get used to her in standard form before making any performance mods!
However if it closes the gap in the gearchange and possibly extends the clutch life then maybe it makes sense to use it.

I didn't really open her up on the way home apart from pulling out of a layby on the Cirencester bypass, my wife moaned it was hurting her little rubber neck when it changed gear!!
Only one way around that, don't take her out in it :shh:

I'm 7 miles west of Stow on the Wold. Stanway Hill is a favourite blast. Pop in any time.
You're a very lucky lad to have Paul's car. He visited a while ago and a more cherished pretty car would be difficult to find.
Pm sent on location
