My neighbour has a GT3.......uses it for track only........the **** thing will not clear the local speed bumps so not the world's most practical road car.........surprise surprise it is banana yellow :)

Had a quick look through the cars on offer and saw an MG Midget, that brought memories as I had one the same colour when I was at uni.

Could not see any damage and only a little over £500...oh!

Hum, never got the Porsche thing, is there something wrong with me?

Everytime I see one, I am wholly unimpressed. I get the performance, I just don't get how they have been banging out the same old shape for seems like eternity.

...brased, awaiting flak!

Had a couple of em , back in the days when they meant a lot more than they do now my favourite the 3.3 turbo in its day sheer brute force and not a lot to compare at the time , but your right there has been minimal design differences from then untill today, now too many average makes are not very far behind the likes of evo, scoobies etc even my RX8 handled better but a 2007 GT3 for around £35k all done is still an awesome piece of kit

Driving around London for an hour you would lose count of the number of Porsches on the roads..................drive around London for a day and you would be able to count the number of Maseratis on one hand and perhaps you may not even see one. Maseratis are classy, exotic and carry so much more mystique than any Porsche 911 no matter how good they maybe.

For me, Porsche maybe fast, maybe reliable, may handle better than a Maserati but OMG they make me yawn

I couldn’t agree more. They are superbly engineered but just so dull, aesthetically speaking. I had an old 911 Turbo which was a bit brutal but fun but the Porches of today are just bland particularly with that tiny spoiler, what’s that about?
You often see some guy driving in either a Boxster, Cayman or 911 and you just get the feeling that they wished someone would admire the car......it just aint gonna happen!

If I wanted a track weapon I would use a Nissan GTR.......it would leave any Porsche in it's wake and for a lot less money.........never been in anything so fast even if it is a trumped up Micra :p
