Vacuum cleaner recommendation

Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner?
It needs to be battery powered, good at cleaning, easy to empty and, here's the differentiator, cope well with lots of long hair rather than wrap it tightly round the rollers where it is difficult to remove.
Its for my 28 year old daughter who has had enough with her old one.
Yes. That's right. A birthday present.

I have found this to be a good one. It has anti-hair wrap technology which eliminates the hair wrap issue.

Something from Xiaomi / Roidmi if you want value for money.

Thanks Mowlas. I'll take a look
Oops sorry Alan, just noticed this one is mains powered and you were looking for battery powered. The battery ones from Shark do also have the anti-hair wrap technology - but you have to make sure it has that fitting.

We have a Dyson corded model which is excellent at home, on carpets and hard floors, but hair tangles round the roller.
Their battery models seem a bit pricey, so probably out of the running for a birthday present. Also, not sure about hair tangling with the battery Dysons.

Wow. Thank you for all the input guys. What a knowledge base.
No problem at all with your suggestion Mowlas. I soon realised it had a mains flex, but I found other Shark products that look quite good for my daughter's little flat.
This appears to be quite good:

I'm a big fan of Shark.

I have one of these handhelds, which is excellent, but very noisy and doesn't hang up, just stands on the counter.

I also have a Shark mains powered upright, that looks a bit like the cordless one you are looking at. The only issue is that the very thin tube gets clogged up, but they seem to have made the latest tubes thicker.

The best vacuums in the world are Miele, though. Apart from the every best, the AEG AG71A mains handheld, which sadly they don't make any more.

We have a corded Shark and my son has a battery one. Both very good at what they do for the price.

We have a £200 wall hanging battery powered one from one of the big guys (Hoover I think) and they are all **** IMHO. They are convenient for quick clear ups but if you want the job done properly out comes the Henry, pre Euro legislation de powered one comes out and tries to pull the carpet off the floor. Brilliant.

It all reminds me of the petrol to electric car thing. They tell you they are better but they are not.
