Sold my wonderful 3200GTA (silver) V884 PPU well over a year ago and wondered if the new owner has appeared on here or if anyone has seen it around, buyer was from Yorkshire way. Would love to know that it was still running fine after all the expense that I had incurred. Really miss it !!

Hated the Boxster to be honest... massive attitude change from other drivers...really noticed it..especially when trying to pull out of any junction etc...so went completely mad and bought a Lexus is250 V6 petrol and have been massively impressed, had it 10 months now and still really enjoying it.

It's always nice to know what happens to our old cars. I have no idea where my 3200 or 4200 are though. Unfortunately most owners are not interested in forums so the trail goes cold very easily.

I'd say around 80-90% of my customers have poured through the forums prior to taking the plunge. There are a lot of lurkers out there who don't post. Each to their own, I regularly read things on other forums but this and the other side are the only places I ever post. At the time of writing this post, there are 143 online of which 20 are members and only 4 of us have posted this morning.
Having owned a few Maseratis, I thought I'd spot my old cars more frequently, but the only ones I've seen have been my silver GS that I sold to Si Bradbury, and my Grigio Nuvolari GS popped up a year or two ago at JCT600, as for all the rest, personally owned, then ones sold through the business, I've not seen them anywhere, unless they're members on here obviously.

I certainly do Phil, 5k budget cost over 12 months got a little too much for Mrs A to bare but I would have one again in a heart beat, fantastic cars but more importantly ...some smashing owners ...all with the same passion...and none of the show!

I take it that's not the same as going to Guantanamo Bay to wear an orange jump suit! You blighters certainly have your little retirement homes sorted out.

Won't be retiring Benny, working a 38 hour week as a Beefeater conducting 2 tours a day 7 days a week. 10 days in the Tower and 4 days off back here in Abingdon. Tide accommodation for me and Mrs A, finish at 1630 then London Town on your door step! Its like retirement I suppose but you get paid.

Tide accommodation hey, what's that, a houseboat on the river?! Sounds like a good deal. I bet those tunics get hot and heavy in mid summer, but the hordes of good looking young female tourists will make it all worth while!

33 Yeoman live within the walls all around The Tower, no problem with noise from the neighbours and plus you get your own car parking spot right outside your house, and lets face it, you wont have to lock your car at night. If the Crown Jewels are safe then I'm sure that the Maserati that I buy with my 'Golden Handshake' will be.

I've seen the tied cottages around the Tower, they are quite nice, some have nice rooftop sitting areas, cushy number by the sound of it..!!
