V8 Bargains...

I once argued that my twin turbocharged 8L V10 was a similar environmental asset - oil companies will only cease to be oil companies when there is no more oil - I was just helping them reach that goal a bit earlier.
Over the years I have recognised that this may not be an easy argument for Extinction Rebellion to accept - I have now downsized to a twin turbocharged V8 - (C63 CLS) I feel much better in my own way

There are plenty around the 23-24k mark.
Go to auction, you're definitely looking sub 20k

And it's done (at least) 99k miles. So realistically I think you can rule out buying a 3-4 year old RR Sport that you'd actually want, for £20k or less.

I'm not convinced that buying a bargain basement high mileage early (but newer model) RR from an auction with no support or warranty would be a particularly wise move.

Should have made it clearer that even RRS are falling to the 20k mark already.

That's true. I have a V12 for environmental reasons. I don't drIve it much, and if someone else owned it they'd probably use it a lot more.

Joking aside......I put out more **** in my diesel Mercedes in a year than you do in your V12 Vantage Adam.....Most supercar owners are more environmentally friendly than you average daily car user....I do 25,000 miles of pollution where as most supercars probably do not go anywhere near 5000 miles of pollution......Very environmentally friendly I say.

Because of Brexit, people are keeping their cash in their own pockets, through fear of the unknown, and the potential huge increase in costs of everything.
No one is going to spend 30k on a toy when their bank balance says £500 and the finance is £400 a month and there is a potential for losing their job and their monthly outgoings going up by £200.

So those who want to sell their 30k toy for that exact reason, aren't getting the buyer. Hence they drop the price.....

I'm literally doing the opposite of this! Haha

I was specifically looking for a NA V8 when I bought the GTS - 2 years old and half price. Bargain of the year if you ask me.
