Its all about tyres. I've got Continental Winter Contact on my 4200GT and it is great in the snow (watch the ground clearance though) whereas last winter on PS2s it was just spinning away like a top.

Good to know BB......just snow or what about icy conditions too, louder to drive on etc...other observations?

the wheels do look too big, you could get away with that though in Cheshire, one guy near me has a Range Rover and i swear to god the wheels are about 23 inch.

Iffy like anything in the ice - I can get my Discovery sideways in the ice let alone the Maser! They seem no louder to drive on but I have not been that fast on them yet. If I keep my 4200 until 2012 then I would have got value out of them, covering two winters. If I upgrade to a GranTurismo in 2011 then someone will get a bargain next November with a nice set of winter tyres that have only done 3k miles.
