Upgraded radio

Looking at purchasing new and not keen on upgrading the standard radio for around £3,500 extra but keep getting told (by sales guys) resale value would suffer as people would expect the upgraded option , not a big radio/music player so doesn’t bother me what you guys think?

You never get the value back in resale, but it would make it a little more attractive.
