I've never tried my X431 on a 3200
Several members on here have the same as me so we need someone to experiment really to get the correct information.
 
I’m using mine on a 3200 gt pre obd. I have cleared nox sensor faults but nothing else to date.
 
You just need a 3 pin to 16 pin adapter that’s also powered. 12v.
There’s loads on the internet.

Yes I am using that one to plug into my laptop.
My friend has an Autel which I can borrow.
Or is the Launch the only reader that is equipped for this?
 
Hi, sorry, unfortunately I don’t know, but it must be worth a try with Autel if you can borrow one.

Do I need to connect the laptop to the cable first, than plug it to the OBD2 port than go the Start-ID?

Is this what you should do I've copied and pasted off a French translation.

's a little feedback on the subject.
- Purchase of the blue cable "KKL USB DIAGNOSTIC CABLE FOR FIAT ALFA LANCIA COMPATIBLE MULTIECUSCAN ALFAOBD"
- Connect the cable to a Windows 10 PC
- Automatic driver update
- Launch the UniDiag executable file version "UniDiagKWP2000_0_5_0_11" (FT2XX.Dll may need to be installed).
Carefully check the communication pot assigned to your USB. If it's OK, then there will be no more error messages during connection attempts.
Now all that's left is to:
- Connect the cable to the OBD2 port next to the steering wheel (cable switch on 7)
- Set the speed to 5 baud
- Press "Connect" and wait for the connection check (a series of letters and numbers written in bold)
- Change menus and press "Read DTC Messages"
(I had a series with the counter at 0)
- Change menus and press "Read DTC Messages"
(I had a series with the counter at 0)
- Perform the RESET DTC messages,
the screen is blank / no more messages. 8-)

And that's it!

For the other menus, you need a specific "-DEDF" configuration file for the 3200, which I don't have.

It's an essential tool for all 3200 owners who don't want to visit the dealership every week. :D
Still need to find the files for the suspension, airbags, ABS, and so on... :twisted:
