The footrest is an option , the kit can be ordered without it .
It does fit like a glove though , I velcroed mine to the carpet with a cut off screw top and bottom to secure it to the carpet , you can drill into the metal underneath and fix it very securely , but I didn’t fancy that , there is also part of the wiring loom running under the carpet in that area .

I ordered the rest Mike.
I dont faancy drilling the floor or screwing self tappers into it either. Its a bit mickey mouse for me ! Im sure I can come up with a way. But I may just leave it off altogether if Im still unconvinced when I have it in front of me.
Did you leave the original in place ?

Grtzz..!

Nice one , it does look a bit bling with your head in the footwell but when you back up a bit there is just the right amount of sparkle .
I removed the plastic footrest , it stands a fair bit proud of the carpet , it is held on by little legs that have been melted and mushroomed over so not hard to prise off .

Useful to know thanks. A photo would be good as well.

Here you go. These are the ones Maverick made a few years back.

As you can see comparing to the photos of Mike X's install the accelerator pedal is at less of an angle which helps a lot and I can heel toe easier this way too.

The pedals are smaller than the rubber covers which allows this room for adjustment

I would think quite small changes in dimensions will "feel" like there perhaps a disproportionate increase in space...
Of course, Ultimate Pedals may not be the same as Mav's...!
