I was just about to spend £50k on a 7 seat SQ7 V8 TDi.....not even sure where you get to a £60k 2 seat Strad from there! Open to suggestions :D

Because some seats are worth more than others?
Looking like a weak start :D

Going to struggle with this I think. Unless they want to take the 4200 and Supercharged Chimaera as a straight swap. That could work......mmmm

I must say that this is the same model as Blondie’s and the seats and harness are very comfortable for ladies. Just don’t sit on the buckle when you get in or the wiring gets damaged easily. It was good being a passenger on a track too, until I closed my eyes and then felt very sick.

While we say it isn’t keen price I am not sure Inhave seen a 2 seater over 60k for a while but then they don’t come up very often.

Definitely food for thought. I've been talking of consolidating two into one for a while. Trouble is I've never had a V12 and you start opening up that Aston V12 area at that price range.

Another (very similar) one on eBay Here

@Zep that looks like the twin to yours. I was told there are two pastello cars with yellow calipers only. It was for sale by Nareman 3 or 4 years ago.
How about calling the ones with the roll cage car and offering £5k for the cage and harnesses and you swap the parts? Might be worth a try.

you know you need this car!

Regarding cage/weight/use etc. I may (no idea, really) be the only owner who has ever tracked his two seater. It is fun, flies, and the brakes are awe (and confidence) inspiring. With some sticky tires (the OEM spec in good shape) it rips. I'd be happy to have a cage in there too for extra theater, and a tiny bit more safety. The two seaters are skunkworks specials which are much more fun than you'd think by the official maser figures. Get it bought! (doubt you'll lose money either -ymmv)

oh, you're a great influence as usual! :)

I took my Strad on track as well, it was great, but you have to admit it's not lightweight!

You would struggle to ge a V12 Vantage at this price point buddy. Cheapest on for sale is 75k currently but most are 85k plus. A year or so ago you may have got one starting with a 6 but those days seems long gone. The first manual cars are now up for the same money as the V12 S in some instances as well.

If only we'd known - we were there a couple of days ago while my Spyder was having its MOT and service at sportsitalia (it passed - of course). A very nice 'trading estate' with some even nicer cars (and brewery and coffee shop!).

Eurgh, diesel!
I know I know!

They revised the SQ7 last year to TT petrol but it makes less sense in this car. So the earlier 4.0 V8 TT Diesel seems ideal and better suited for my use for that SQ7.

I'm not a fan of diesel at all mainly due to small rev band and laggy laggy laggy. Some like that lag followed by a waft of torque but I find it tiresome. No power, no power, all the power....oh gone....change gear....same again.

The diesel is triple charged in effect with an electric charger pre-charging the turbo for instant response. Seems to work well so 900nm available for only 1000rpm!
