Oooh that’s nasty.

CatB so only a dismantles can buy it and they have to prove they crushed the chassis.

It will never go back on the road.

Nooooooooooooooooo......That was the car that has been discussed on here loads of times. Owned by a member at one stage. Sold by Nuvola at once as well I believe and Redline...It was up for sale I believe at the beginning of the year ...Gutted as it was one of the nicest colours on a 2 seater and pretty rare amongst the blacks and whites out there. Gutted .....

Before that it came up for sale in Jan 2016 ..... Being sold by Bowker Maserati. The owner bought it from Nuvola late 2015 but only had it a few months as couldn't get on with it.

Redline had it for sale around August 2014....

A brief history of a car five wanted since the first time I saw it. I think we should send the boys around to have a word with the last owner ........... Sports Maserati Mafia justice is needed.

Messy. Bizarre that the airbags didn’t go off.
I had a good chat with Les Edgar on the TVR stand @ Excel few months back about air bags amongst other things.

Interesting that date stamp on most airbags seems to be circa 5 years. Time bomb scenario & doesn't seem well publicised yet. Most air bags it seems won't deploy after date had expired so are useless! Bonkers!!

To replace all airbags in a 6 year old Audi R8 for example is write off territory. Makes you think.....

Neither did I but apparently many are made from rubberised materials like a big balloon I guess. Leave a balloon sat there for over 5 years & try and blow it up then see what happens. Does make sense I suppose when you think about it.

I had an old large box of latex gloves that by the time I had got half way through the rest were knackered as just pretty much disintegrated. Imagine the law suit if air bag went off in US & cosmetically disfigured someone as the integrity of the bag had gone.
