It’s too small plus the trident isn’t allowed nowadays is it?
I think you're right about the trident but there is no size requirement for the plate itself. As long as the font, letter size and spacing are legally correct (and they look like they are), the plate can be any size.

Don’t pretend you’ve not thought of getting a California to compliment your FF. Though I accept, that in Scotland, you’ll find more days to use the four-wheel-drive FF than you will roof-off in the Cali.;)

And doesn’t it need the BS number and makers Post Code?
