Like a revolving garage door currently with another one for sale now!

Just popped a PH ad up for the TVR. I know there are a few TVR fans in here but not sure there is many. I'll link the add rather than copy/paste the entire contents to clog up this thread too much.

Feel free to ask any questions or request any further info.

Yes I like a TVR, but would need to be my old early Cerbera if buying another. Good luck with the sale, it looks a very interesting car.

Great car and great advert, what else could you buy with that performance at that price
Thanks Andy. Just trying to put together a very long chronological PDF with all the documentation/history from start to finish. The downside of a car with so much history is you need to collate it and put some hours in to advertise the car the best it can be.

I agree and was trying to get across the same as to what you could buy for the same/similar money that does the same or similar. I'd guess it would a be sub 3 secs on the 0-60mph in the right hands. Top speed is irrelevant any way IMHO but I I wouldn't want to be in it doing the speeds it could likely do!!

So it was the previous owner who won £693,5177 ??

Ric Wood was the previous owner I bought it from but the previous owner to Ric won the cash and did all the works.

A valid point actually so thank you as I need to take some pics as a targa and full convertible really as there currently isn't any in the add I don't think.

It looks like this as a targa and the roof panel stores in the boot and still leaves tons of space as the boot is huge!

Well having owned an upgraded Chimaera With 317HP larger discs, upgraded shocks and springs I would not fancy having 400+ horsepower in that thing. My car was pretty scary at the best of times and really too light to cope with that sort of power on a day to day basis. I took it to the nurburgring and it was epic there, and really belonged there. I suspect this car will be the same absolute monster on a warm day on a track but as a weekend driver pretty hard work. Looks lovely and I do miss the TVR but don't miss that feeling that car really wanted to kill me. Worth remembering that the Chimaera has no airbags, no ABS, and no traction control.
Even with 320 HP it would light up the rear tyres at 70 mph on the motorway just dropping it into 3rd. It also had a habit of locking up the rear wheel when you dropped a gear because it was too light to slow the engine down. I loved it but....

Can totally see that and lovely car there. My last 500 was 320bhp and more than I needed. I didn't buy the car as it was supercharged and nuts but I love Rolex Blue and the car was a mint 450. It is part the reason why I am selling is just too much for what I need so kind of pointless for me. Clearly some do want to be scared senseless and want/need these things. Like you I'm happy to be more content with less.

As you say on a dry warm day on the road or track it has loads of traction and handles/brakes very well. I know from my first 400 some years ago how easily these things can swap ends in the cold, damp or wet!

That + me would be hello, Sam, if you get my drift. I'd need a brick under the right-hand pedal. Looks wonderful, though.

Good luck selling it, Dean.

That looks great.
Was it this one or a previous one I remember talk that it had an open diff but really could do with a LSD?

Not this one. As mentioned above I thought pretty much all TVR's had LSD's as standard. I think some unscrupulous person was trying to abuse me a little there before on the previous car!
