Touching up.

Could anyone recommend a good supplier of touch-up kits for an early Spyder from the paint code? Bought one a while ago and the colour was way off.
Tried search on touch[-][up] but too many odd returns.

This isn’t big surprise given this unruly lot. :p

Do you know your paint code? (The sticker should be on the underside of your bonnet). There were some changes to colours but not names so you might need to find someone able to mix to code and year.

Or do what Scaf said. There is a supplier in Northampton which will match a colour doing spray outs against a sample for £25 (plus the paint).

One issue is that touch up paint will be cellulose and the paint on the car will be multi-pack and possibly water based even. There are many differences that are hard to overcome.

I used this German supplier via Amazon for my early Blu Mediterraneo Spyder. I just supplied the paint code. The colour match is perfect. I think they do touch up kits as well. Shipping is a bit pricey but overall I was very happy (used it to paint some new washer covers).
