Yes Turkish delight is an acquired taste…I love them as I do Bounty which seems to divide opinion.

Oh yes a Curly Wurly ….But needs to be softer where as most chocolate I like out of the fridge.
Like Waggon Wheels....cant beat a nice soft curly wurly, bought some a couple of weeks ago, they seem smaller than i remember them from donkeys years ago

Has to be plain - milk is too sweet to be edible.Plain or Milk chocolate Bounty? That divides opinion even more!
Non chocolate sweets (toffees in Bolton, sweet was a pouf-ish sounding word to us hard kids), never called it a sweet shop.
Spangles
Lemfizz
Flying Saucers
Refreshers
Love Hearts
Bazooka Joes
Chewits
and many more
Not forgetting the 'Penny Tray'. I fact I might go in the local 'Toffee' shop and ask for the Penny tray, see if I get anything.
A classic BarOne (Mars bar) - and eat it by layer. The best….as I kid I also loved Bounty - and the ad : a tropical surprise in milk chocolate - accompanied of course by a pretty island girl
And the old Rolo of course….. now sadly nowhere near as nice…
Cadbury’s Turkish delight, sadly not available in the UK anymore is one of my favourites.. Bountys are vile.. and have you seen the size of a Double `decker these days? Less Double Decker, more mini van…
