technology is ahead of infrastructure.......some good cars and looking like a decent future for electrics but at the mo we cant run them properly......

True but the demand and 2035 compulsion for electric cars will address this.
It's probably easier to deliver than say, laying gas pipelines.

However, there needs to be an uplift in generation. Preferably nuclear and renewables otherwise electric cars are pointless.

Plus, they're awful for the environment. The future is V8 and V12, my friends! When only the cockroaches and a handful of hardy humans remain*, good luck finding a leccy charging point that'll take your debit card. I'll be drilling Artesian wells to drain the tanks of old school filling stations.

But it's not. You can put gas to individual houses, where do you put a charger in a tennemant flat?

Public transport is pants all over, London to Bournemouth takes two hours five minutes the same time as London to Manchester. HS2 will reduce this but Manchester to Leeds takes an hour.

Did anyone watch Top Gear last night......Really cannot get on with the looks of that Ferrari Portofino. But worse than the looks it had 80k of options.....Jesus that's a Stradale and a great QP....but worse than that....Carbon fibre cup holder....£1400......Ferrari clearly are taking the p1ss......

Its grown on me a bit more now the Portofino. As for options I don't know why anyone would bother with half of them

The Portofino looks better in the flesh IMO but for the price you could have both the Porsche and the Aston, now I'm not a fan of either of those if I had to that's where my money would go
