Too good to be true?

A 13 plate MC Shift. By 2013 most were sport shifts I believe.

The Sport Shift is essentially an auto box. (no clutch)
The MC Shift is a robotised manual. (clutch)

Great price that, snap it up quick and Geoff is right not many MC Shift we made around the 13 or 14 plates. It's like mine with 7k miles on too but mines a GT Sport MC Auto Shift.

Ah okay, I'm guessing the example shown is a Sport Shift (I've spoken to the chap, and he said it's starts in Auto).

What checks can I do to ensure that the car is all legitimate? Would you advise taking someone up with me to inspect?

Seems a decent price given the low mileage.
You can pick up a 2011 MC under £40k with 20k Miles, so the one you’re looking at being the facelift with lower miles, £45k seems a decent price.

Okay, so I'm seriously considering buying this, even though the plan was to do so in the next 4-8 weeks.

Paying all of the cash up front is going to be tough to be honest, not impossible, but will need to pull a few strings.

Can anyone recommend the best options for me in this case? I can still put a good chunk of the money upfront, but may need a buffer of about £10K. I've never done anything like this, so would I be looking at finance options/taking out a loan?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Saw this the other day while I was browsing; seems fair and no doubt wiggle room in price..
As ever get an inspection first. But on the face of it looks a decent car, assume you have done mot checks etc..

Do you know how I go about getting an inspection arranged? Regarding MOT checks, not yet - I presume this can be done online by putting in the registration plate?

Yep, you can use the gov website, cazanna will give you some mot and owner history.
Depending on vehicle location you could engage an indi to inspect it for you, or even RAC, though not specialists obviously.

Here u go,as you can see, it’s barely done 1000 miles over 4 Mot, so it’s sat a fair bit, make sure you check the tyre walls for creasing/ cracking if they haven’t been replaced...

This example is definitely not an auto, it's a proper MC Shift manual (and is therefore the correct one to have). Though of course, you do still have the option of pressing the auto button and letting the internal robot change the gears for you.

Looks a good example to me. Good spec, mileage and price. Go get it.
