My 2011 one just passed 50k.
These GTS’s are such good value now if I keep it 8 years, as old as it is now, and it’s worth zero then, it will still have cost me only about 3k/year!
I don’t know why everyone doesn’t buy them!
Because there aren’t very many, which should mean the values will increase at some stage... apart from Devonboys because he’s crazy to think anyone will buy his 30k starship mileage GTS ;)

I was looking at (really wanted the car) Yellow Lamborghini Muricelargo LP640 in Switzerland it had 43,000kms and the salesman said it was a german import. I did a US check revealed the car had 98k miles before it was imported and was in accident. So mileage of the car was probably 130k plus but the car looked immaculate. He sold it two months later at the asking price. The europe/ uk check does not reveal last milage. The salesman also had perfect service history book documenting the 43,000kms. Clocking for these salesman must be easy to get away with.

With the more modern electronics, its a very easy plug in job to clock the car these days (10 years ago for many models you had to remove the dash and use aligator clips onto actual chips to program the EPROM).

If you look on eBay, you can buy factory service books for various cars, stamped with a choice of dealers for however many services you want (of course this is just to replace your "lost" original service book with stamps right?).

about 14 months ago I purchased a 2005 quattroporte DS with 54K miles on it for £14,000. It was more than i wanted to spend (I was planning £10K) as it was going to be a daily driver for me, but the car was in such lovely condition, and so well cared for, I didn't even haggle with the asking price, I actually felt it would be to insulting for the owner (who himself was a lovely guy).

I've put about 5000 miles on it, and its on about 59K miles now. Its not quite a daily driver, as its so nice I ended up buying a 2005 Cayenne Turbo for the times I wasnt sure where i was going to be able to park etc (i.e a hack car as opposed to a daily).

I see in the classifieds (i always keep an eye out) that some of the better sellers (like Romans) are asking similar money for similar cars, but they do seem to take many months to sell....

I've probably overpaid for my car, but I don't feel that whenever I drive it. I've also got 60K miles on my 2004 Murcielago.... that may well be worthless to, but then I don't plan on ever selliing it.

I probably won't sell my DB9, Murcielago or Quattroporte, as they all SOUND amazing... I may eventually be forced into an EV/Hybrid, but I'll keep all my nice sounding cars...

As an owner of a 2005 DB9 volante, which I still think is beautiful, I wholeheartedly concur with this sentiment; from memory it may have been floating around when I bought the car 5 years ago...
She's been about a bit for sure...
