Guys, i really do not know.
The potentiometer of the 4200 looks the same, but has a different ordering number.
I presume the internal resistor vealues are different.
Apart from that, the enginemanagement is totally different, so the modification will not be relevant at all i think.
I will measure the pedalcircuit shortly however, to find out what the differences are regarding the throttlpedalesensor circuit.

Thanks Boomerang, getting into such detail is way beyond me so any information you can supply will be a great contribution to the technical section of the forum. Regards, Miles.

Hi MS, Do you happen to know whether the DBW is therefore a throttle potentiometer bypass? Cheers, Miles.

I think it's wired in series so doubt it's a bypass.

I'm no expert on these things, but I would imagine that the FD module probably amplifies the current coming out of the pot. Must be someone on here who has thought about it a bit more and can comment. Jeff (FD) often scans the forums so maybe he will reply.

Thanks MS, When I get a moment I'll post the question over the pond. Cheers, Miles.
